GTHL Rolls Out Winter Issue Of Breakout Digital Magazine
The GTHL today launched the winter issue of its digital hockey magazine
Breakout, with a focus on the upcoming holiday tournament season. Included is a column by Toronto sports columnist Steve Simmons, John Gardner's "State of

Road to the OHL Cup
The Ontario Hockey League today announced their weekly minor midget rankings for the 2009 Ontario Hockey League Showcase for
the OHL Cup, hosted by the GTHL. The weekly rankings are determined by a panel of OHL Central Scouting staff and represent
the top teams that are competing to play in the annual year-end championship tournament March 18th to 22nd.

12 GTHL Graduates Named to Team Ontario
Team Ontario Director of Operations Rob Kitamura has announced the roster for Ontario's Under 17 Team that will compete in the World Hockey
Challenge in Port Alberni, British Columbia beginning December 28, 2008. Twelve players named to the team are graduates of the Greater Toronto Hockey League.

Kraft Hockeyville 2009 Wants To Bring The NHL To Your Community Arena
The hockey season has begun and for millions of Canadian fans that means watching your favourite athletes on television.
Kraft Canada, CBC, the National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) want to
change that by bringing the NHL to your community arena. The Kraft Hockeyville 2009 competition launches Nov. 1, 2008
giving communities from across Canada the opportunity to host a 2009/10 NHL® pre-season game, win $100,000 in arena upgrade
money from Kraft and a community visit from CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada. The four runner-up communities will receive

Kraft Canada supports GTHL with Three Year Sponsorship Program
Greater Toronto Hockey League teams will be competing for a new trophy this year - the Kraft Cup - thanks to a three-year sponsorship
program between Kraft Canada and the GTHL. The new agreement provides league and player trophies, as well as nutrition

GTHL, Base 1 and Pizza Pizza Announce "Pic of the Week" Contest
The GTHL has announced the continuation of the Base 1, Pizza Pizza "Pic of the Week" contest. The contest was first launched in
2004 and allows participants and their families to submit GTHL game action photos to be posted on the GTHL website.
The individual who submits the winning photo will not only receive a free voucher for a large pizza courtesy of Pizza Pizza, but a 16" x 20" canvas photo courtesy of

RBK & CCM Hockey Helmet Recall
Health Canada has issued a notice with respect to a recall on certain models of RBK and CCM helmets.
It has been found that the chin strap of the recalled helmets may disengage while being used by consumers. If the chin strap
disengages, the helmet can fall off, posing a potential safety hazard. For complete information on this recall and corrective
