Will I be charged taxes / duties?
Question:  Will I be charged taxes / duties?

Answer:  For export shipments from our Canadian manufacture center in Kelowna British Columbia to the United States, you should incur no duty on your art work; however you may incur nominal brokerage charges from the shipper that clears the art work through Customs.

For export shipments from Canada to other countries, you may or may not incur duties and taxes subject to any trade agreements between Canada and your country.  Works of art traded between many countries commonly do not incur duty charges.  You may incur a value added tax or similar that your country has on all incoming goods.

For more information, please consult your local trade advice bureau.  Please note that on all shipments outside of Canada, payment of any brokerage, duties and/or taxes levied is the responsibility of the customer.

On all shipments in Canada, five percent (5%) GST is added to the invoice.  For shipments in British Columbia, an additional seven percent (7%) PST is added.
